I have worked with all kinds of issues ranging from general anxiety and depression, to more complex trauma. I also embrace a mindful approach helping people to see that their problems can be better understood and resolved though a recognition of what their body is trying to tell them. Good mental health goes hand in hand with general health and a positive self-concept which I will help you to find. My motto has always been, it is not what is wrong with you, it has what has happened to you.
About me and my practice
I work in Private practice seeing clients online and in person. These could be adults, young people or couples. I also work in a special school three days a week where I see young people between 8 and 18 years of age.
Experience
I have been working in private practice for over ten years now. But during this time I have also worked for various charities supporting young people who have been victims of crime, and more recently and specifically counselling victims of sexual harm.
I currently work in a special school three days a week and the children I work with range in age from 8 to 18.
I also trained as a Relate counsellor which qualifies me to work as a relationship counsellor. This work has given me experience not only of working with romantic partners but also other kinds of relationships such as mothers and daughters.
My particular field of speciality is trauma work.
I have also recently qualified to work with adoption.

Initial Consultation
We can have a initial consultation by phone, and no charge will be made for this. At the end of this you can book your first session but you are obviously not obliged to do so.
Fees
I charge £50 for an individual session and £60 for couples.
Session will not be confirmed until fee is paid, but this can be reimbursed in full if session is cancelled with 24 hours notice.
When I Work
I see clients Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Slots are at 7pm or 8pm.
I also see clients Thursday mornings between 9am and 12pm.
And Friday mornings 9am to 11am
